Our Good-Deed-Doer....
So, growing up, it was always really just my sister and I. I had step siblings come and go, but Mary has always been there, since I was born, she's been there to protect, comfort and love me.....even though times she didn't want to. She is one of the MOST important people in my life...and thats said with honesty...
She is the sweet one between us...she always has been. She will be shaving her head for cancer research through this organization....its nation wide, but she is in Boise Idaho. Her hair (which is super long and pretty) will be donated to Locks of Love.
I'm not soliciting $, but it would mean the world to me if you could support her. She's a wonderful woman...
If you go to the website and donate under Mary Herington......even just a few bucks.....this means a lot to her, and so it means a lot to me.
THE REWARD: I mean, other than supporting my sister while she shaves her head for Cancer Research and donates ALL of her earnings and her hair.....YOU GET AN ALL EXPENSE PAID........ready guys???
............An ENTIRE dinner, made by yours truly to be delivered any day/night of the week you choose. Yes..WHATS THAT YOU SAY??? Yes, thats what I said...a nice dinner for you and your family to eat...and you don't even have to cook it...I will. I pr0mise is it will be eatable. ;-)
This of course is only offered to the locals....sorry ;-) But what wouldn't you pay for a meal to be at your doorstep in time for dinner?!?!..made by YOURS TRULY!!!

This isn't some FWD for raising donations...its my SISTER...who will indeed shave her head next week.....lets make her feel that it was worth it....I will post pictures as well, so we can all follow her in her good-deed-doer endeavor.

She's had to go through so many approvals to do this, for work, for the organization, etc. Sh'es put forth quite a bit of effort, just to qualify.

I would at this time like to tell you a little about the above site. This site is to collect donations for Cancer Research. I alone am trying to raise $5000.00 in donations, and in return I will be shaving my lovely locks off. Yes I did say shaving. I will also be sending my hair to Locks of Love. This may be a little extreme but I was blessed with hair,and knock on wood I am healthy.
I would also like to invite you to witness this lovely event on March 14th at the Knitting Factory I guess starting at 12:00 pm.
Thank you, I really am not one to ask for money but this is for a great cause and I want to help out all that I can, even if it means I will have no hair for a month or so.

Do I look 32?
I don't feel 32, I'll tell ya that much. Its my Birthday month...hence, the cupcakes ;-) I can't believe I'm married...with KIDS! I'm 32 (well, I will be anyway) and just about have it all.......career, education, healthy kids, husband and self. And soon, we'll know what a REAL paycheck is! ;-0 And this next year, we'll find out what owning your home is like too....may this next year be better than the last! ;-) Life is good to me.....I love it!

2- I had a 1.8 gpa freshmen year of college (3.95 in HS)
3- my dream house has an actual white picket fence as well as: big deck, swimming pool, large yard, nice trees/landscaping and is on 2+ acres

1. I won't eat seafood or any meat off a bone, with any fat/gristle/skin or nasty on it. Grosses me out. If I get a plate with something like that on it....does me in...can't eat anything. Or watching someone else eat it...ohh geez my stomach is seriously churning just writing this.....moving along..
2. I disparately miss playing guitar, rock climbing, white water kayaking, hiking, camping (summer and winter), skiing, and hot springing. I used to all regularly. I did actually used to be one of the cool kids ya know.....
3. I'm a bloater. Yeah...you heard me. I'll hang on to like 7lbs of water that doesn't belong. My fingers swell at night, so I don't wear my rings. I can look 6mos preg after a big salty meal. Yes, I'm talented, I know.
4. I am not a stinky person. My body has to be camping for like...an entire week without washing...for me to really smell. I'm not gaseous, I'm not smelly. Sorry.....I really DO smell like roses...lol lol...well, actually more like peach-detergent.....(if thats even a smell)
5. I actually DO think (and know) I have the smartest, coolest, most beautiful children I've ever seen. And I seriously cannot believe they're mine at times. (you can take that last part both ways lol)
6. I don't like children. Its true. I maybe can like them for very short bursts of time....sometimes. Those of you who know me best...know this. I don't like them...they're completely annoying. I like SELECT few. And I'm choosy about who my kids play with. A lot of people think...just because I have kids...means I like them...NO...NO....NO...it means I like my OWN.

Be My Valentine
Paul and I went out on a LOVELY date last night...to celebrate Valentines Day (a little early to beet the crowds). It really was a good night...thanks going out to the Keith Family for watching our kidlets. oh yeah...and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY...I LOVE YOU PAUL!!!!
