If you know Paul, you know he has a thing for trees. In fact, he has had a thing for Madrone trees for awhile; has tried to transplant them, etc. Its hard to find them in a nursery...but we did. lol, a MAIL order nursery not really open to the public....lol, but it was open to us...once we got there LOL. We got some Madrones, Cedars, a Tamerack, a Sunrise Maple (like NOTHING youv'e seen!), and some asian tree .... it was interesting.....and fun ;-)
Paul took this pick of a Madrone trunk....the bark is really neat...redish....and the leaves are green and yellow.
