This week at Walgreens: MARY: listen up!

Breakdown was 20 bucks. Now Mary, I know we've talked about this. Now listen: The gillete shampoo broke down to a buck a piece. The PertPlus was 50 cents a piece. The SoftSoap bodywash (its the larger sizes guys!) was like 30 cents a piece. The sugars were 2 bucks a piece, the pingles 80 cents. The gum was 1.38 for all 4. The glade stuff was a steel due to b1g1 coupons, plus rebates and other coupons. The Garnier deep cond. was 3 bucks. Candy was a buck a piece. The gilette hair and body was free. The engergy shot and 2 toothbrushes (not shown) were free. Mary, you can do this...its Walgreens...you have one there. You just have to piece the manufacturers coupons, with store coupons with rebates and sales. Remember you can use b1g1 coupons with dollar amt coupons. And store coupons are different than manu. coupons. Rebates are sometimes a pain, but actually, it goes super quick on the comp, seriously.....like 1 min...no big deal. This was a huge corner for me to cut in our finances......YOU CAN DO THIS MARY...i'll help ya. That was the reason I started doing Walgreens so I could teach you how. Call me.

CVS run

This week CVS run breakdown was: oh, and I went back to get another bottle of Downey (it was a good deal...that stuff is expensive!). OKay, including 3 bottles of downey and the rest of the stuff you see above, the breakdown was: 23.79 . Thats pretty good really, thats what I would have paid just for the Downey itself. Toothpaste and both makeups were free....the rest were just good prices. I also used last weeks extracare bucks...so, it really wasn't too much out of pocket.

Cute Emma

OKay, sitting here doing the blog, Paul thinks its Emmas teeth again that is making her so...um, challenging (to say the least). We gave her Motrin (YEAH for drugs!) and she's doing better. Maybe a culmination of things for poor Emma, huh?

Emma at the Zoo

Okay, haircut on thus, zoo on fri......she wasnt herself, this was like the only thing i could get her to do. and even then she just laid on the duck. I hope by tomarrow we see a little more of our true Emma.

Look at our over grown 9 month old

Eh, even with that said, shes's still cute. We are trying to be sensitive to Emma and her feelings, but in all honesty, I think she's getting sick of everyone giving her the attention from her hair. She hears us all talk, and I think we're making her self conscious. The last 2 days she's been off kilter. And yes, Emma will do this ever so often, but it does coincide with her haircut. Hmm, we'll just be sensitive with our most sensitive girl.

Pixie cut

Well, not a TRUE pixie-cut, but close...I left the side whispys alone....I just couldn't cut ALL the curl off.....it seemed excessively sad on my part. And 2 days later I've noticed, Emma doesn't much care, she thought Hailey was making her 'pretty'. Obviously, Hailey didn't MAKE her sit down and have her hair cut off. But we gel up Emmas hair in the morning, and it doesn't look too bad....we are getting used to it. But I think I'll miss the ringlets until they come back :::oh please let them come back:::::

The scene of the crime

As you can see, this was a premeditated execution. There was the little pink chair and the garbage next to this. This was Hailey being....the 'little mommy'.
